Career and Expertise

Emrecan Özgün’s journey began in the early 2000s at Istanbul Technical University, where he honed his skills in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He then gained valuable experience in Turkey’s leading shipyards, tackling complex design challenges with his engineering background.

This experience fueled Emrecan’s passion, leading him to establish Özgün Yacht Design in 2010. The company focused on providing naval architecture and engineering services for mega yachts.

Emrecan’s dedication to excellence goes beyond just engineering. He recognized the importance of aesthetics. In 2013, Özgün Yacht Design expanded its team and launched its registered trademark, Unique Yacht Design. This new venture allowed them to offer exterior design services as well, creating remarkable and practical yacht concepts.
