Test Drive Success

Monday, February 19th, marked the historic first sea trial for ETERNAL SPARK yacht. All systems passed with flying colours, with just a minor engine thermostat adjustment needed. From autopilots and radars to GPS and wiring, everything performed flawlessly.

Also, the stabiliser checked out terrifically. The crew made ETERNAL SPARK rock and stop quickly to see how the stabilisation fins would react while being tested separately at zero speed and underway.

The Jet Ski Squadron – Ready is for Action

The jet skis have arrived, and the crew is diligently preparing them for their charter debut. Engines are purring, safety features are double-checked, and custom ETERNAL SPARK logo stickers are added for personalization.

Finishing Touches on the Interior

After she was placed into the water, the focus shifted from the exterior of ETERNAL SPARK yacht to the interior, where over 50 workers are working around the clock to perfect every detail.

Crew Spirits Are High

The crew of ETERNAL SPARK yacht is buzzing with anticipation, eagerly awaiting the moment they welcome their first charter guests.

While some stay aboard during sea trials, others handle shoreside preparations; deckhands tirelessly clean teak floors and prepare lines, while the interior crew gathers provisions from Istanbul’s bustling markets.

Splicing the Lines

An interesting, behind-the-scene job in preparing a yacht for sea is splicing the lines.

The deck crew sort and prepare all the new lines that have arrived for ETERNAL SPARK and then every line has to be expertly woven into secure loops. These loops are just untangled ends of each line, braided into themselves to form a loop.

These loops are essential for the safety of most seafaring equipment, including the fenders, the jetskis, the chase boat and Eternal Spark herself, because the loops are what connect ETERNAL SPARK with her equipment or the mainland.
