ETERNAL SPARK Impressions from the Y&AA 2025
There are moments in yachting that define a legacy. This year, in the heart of Monaco, the iconic Hotel de Paris hosted an unforgettable celebration of design, innovation, and elegance at the prestigious Yacht&Aviation Awards. Among the nominees was ETERNAL SPARK, our 100% charter-only superyacht, created for the global elite and crafted to deliver unmatched guest experiences. What follows is our personal impression from the award ceremony.
The award day began with a cocktail hour on the grand terrace of the legendary Hotel de Paris, directly facing the Monte Carlo Casino.
If guests were positioned in the right way, they could even catch a glimpse of ETERNAL SPARK anchored in the harbour.
Glamour hung in the air, just as you’d expect from Monaco in its full glory. Valets parked our car the moment we arrived, coats vanished with elegance, and flashes from photographers lit up the entrance like a Cannes premiere.
ETERNAL SPARK was represented by people heavily involved in her build from the start, like Cptn. Roko Vukovic, alongside Elena and Enrico from HotLab studios and representatives of the ETERNAL SPARK management team.
A Red Carpet Welcome in the Heart of Monaco
Champagne sparkled in crystal glasses as guests mingled, and the buzz of anticipation filled the air. Inside, our table was shared with an artisan team from the UK (by way of New Zealand), masters of bespoke luxury wooden furniture.
Fellow nominees in a different category, they brought both charm and artistry to the table. Our early conversation flowed from design to craftsmanship to the sheer surrealism of being surrounded by such a spectacle of global creativity.
Our new friends introduced their design studio as Coco Wolf, which was here to unveil their Zante Collection, an innovative range of outdoor furniture that merges craftsmanship, sustainability and contemporary design.
Combining their original approach, maritime practices and sturdy materials with an artistic touch, it was no wonder that Coco Wolf took home the award for Best Furniture.
The Long Wait
After introducing ourselves with the Coco Wolf team, what followed was a four-hour stretch that blurred the line between formality and festivity. It gave space and plenty of time for everyone to truly connect.
The official dinner commenced with a flourish, though in full honesty, it could not compete with the creations of our onboard chef on ETERNAL SPARK. Positioned far from the stage, our table kept the mood light, despite the growing suspense.
The level of service during dinner mirrored what you’d expect aboard a luxury yacht: white-glove precision, elegance without pretense, and timed presentation.
But while the official event began at 19:00, the award ceremony did not kick off until 23:00. When the ceremony finally began, it unfolded with unpredictability—the order of awards shuffled from the published schedule, which left nominees guessing at every turn, hoping they would win.
The Rollercoaster Ride to Victory
We started the evening hopeful, maybe even confident, but after several nominations and no wins, reality set in. The mood quieted. Then, to everyone’s delight, the Coco Wolf team from our table was called on stage to accept their award. Cheers erupted—our table’s first win, and a proud one at that.
Soon after, we were ready to call it a night. Coats were being collected, glances exchanged about returning to ETERNAL SPARK. And then it happened. “The winner for the Best Master Cabin is… ETERNAL SPARK.” At first, we thought it was a mistake.
It was so late in the evening, and the room was beginning to empty. But the name was clear. We celebrated like never before—hugging, laughing, walking to the stage in shock and gratitude.
Our acceptance speech was genuine and from the heart. We spoke not just of our own success, but of the strength of the field, and of what it means to operate a truly dedicated charter yacht like ETERNAL SPARK, designed not just for aesthetics, but for the experience of real people onboard.
We truly wanted to share our success with every professional in the room that night.
From Final Farewells to the Highest Honor
With our award in hand and spirits lifted, we returned to our table ready to enjoy the final minutes of the event. But the night wasn’t quite finished.
The announcer had one last envelope. “The most prestigious award of the evening,” he declared, “voted exclusively by industry peers. The Best of the Best Design Award goes to… Hot Lab for their work on ETERNAL SPARK.”
The table erupted again. Two awards for the ETERNAL SPARK team and one for the Coco Wolf team. From expecting to leave empty-handed to sweeping some of the evening’s top honours—it was a high no one could have scripted. Our table had become the celebration epicentre of the Yacht & Aviation Awards.
We left the Hotel de Paris just before midnight, arms full of awards, hearts full of pride. Our chef aboard ETERNAL SPARK had already begun preparing a private dinner for our return, where the laughter and storytelling would continue late into the night.
This evening brought recognition as well as solidified ETERNAL SPARK’s place as an award-winning superyacht, a premium charter experience that is as unforgettable as the night we had in Monaco.
